A VERSI DREDGE® removes silt, sediment, and overgrown
aquatic vegetation from a city lake in Mexico. The tropical lake had
become unusable for recreation or flood control. The aquatic weeds
were chopped into 1- to 3-inch pieces by the patented WEEDMASTER®
cutterhead attachment and then pumped to shore by the dredge pump.

VERSI DREDGE® outfitted with the WEEDMASTER® cutterhead
attacks a wall of weeds at Lake Macy in Florida. After four
months of dredging, the over-grown tussocks that choked the
20-acre body of water are gone, leaving the water cleaner
than it has been in decades. The VERSI DREDGE® was a
wise choice for this project, because it allowed the
operator to remove the extensive weed cover and then deepen
the lake with the excavator cutterhead.
