Depth Master Dam Filling Up
An IMS Depth Master completes an even horizontal cut tracked by Dredging GPS as the dam is refilled to capacity. Eventually the Depth Master will remove all of the silt from the dam and get it back to 100% storage capacity and be able to maintain it as to preserve maximum power output at the dam.
Depth Master Discharge Line
An IMS Depth Master deepens a hydro-power dam in Guatemala. A special liner protection system was added to the cutterhead to prevent damage to the dam’s poly liner. The discharge was re-routed back to the river that brought the water to the dam therefore putting it back in its natural course. The dam is key to Guatemala’s power requirements and the Depth Master is solving the silt problem and allowing the turbines to operate without silting up.
